During our descent toward the main cavern, we completed a comparison between recovered Ilghal fragments and the reality currently observable on site.

The first image is an interpretative reconstruction generated from recovered Ilghal fragments. It represents our best estimate of the condition of this sector before the destruction of Deep City.

The second image shows the same location during direct observation by Expedition EX306pA-QW.

The discrepancy is absolute.

The suspended platforms no longer exist.

The structural systems are fragmented.

Operational activity is nonexistent.

Deep City is gone.

However, our sensors have detected an anomaly that cannot be explained by the reconstructed models.

Two energy sources remain active.

The first signal originates from the upper end of the access shaft used by the expedition to enter the cavern.

The second signal emerges from within the collapsed remains, apparently from one of the structural blocks buried beneath the debris.

No emissions consistent with maintenance systems have been detected.

No communications have been detected.

No operational robotic entities have been detected.

And yet both signals persist.

If the reconstructed chronological models are correct, these energy sources should have gone offline centuries ago.

I request interpretation from the Eurasian Laboratories.

What are we observing?

An unknown autonomous subsystem?

Functional fragments of Ilghal?

Or evidence that part of Deep City never truly ceased operating?

The expedition will proceed toward the second signal.
