Reconstructing Deep City

The EX306pA-QW Expedition reconstructs Deep City as it existed before its collapse using data gathered by the auxiliary survey vessel.

The cartographic survey completed by the auxiliary vessel has reached a level of detail sufficient to begin the first complete structural reconstruction of Deep City as it existed before its collapse.

By combining the geometric data gathered during the expedition with the recovered Ilghal fragments and the Structural Reconstruction Protocol (Blender 3D v.∞), we have generated the first simulation of the city while its four suspended blocks were still fully operational.

The first reconstruction presents the entire megastructure. To provide a clear sense of scale, we have included a reconstruction of the EX306pA-QW expedition vessel, allowing direct comparison between the spacecraft and the enormous dimensions of Deep City.

The second reconstruction hides two of the city’s four suspended blocks. This visualization exposes the central interior of Deep City, making it possible to study the arrangement of its internal platforms, structural systems, and the geometric relationships between the different sectors.

These simulations will become one of the expedition’s primary analytical tools. Comparing the reconstructed city with its present collapsed state will help identify which structures failed during the catastrophe, which have survived intact, and whether the only remaining residual energy source is associated with an original component of the city or with a later anomaly.

The reconstruction process remains ongoing. Each new survey transmitted by the auxiliary vessel further refines the model and brings us one step closer to understanding what truly happened inside Deep City.
