Following spectral and topological analysis of the recovered image, I confirm that it represents an aerial cartography of former Manhattan partially covered by a dense sedimentary layer. The orthogonal street grid, clearly identifiable, matches pre–Revolution of 2053 urban plans.

The dominant bluish tone suggests prolonged immersion in water or suspension beneath a high-density liquid mass. The white irregular formations indicate solid accumulations, possibly crystallized snow or mineral deposits derived from the so-called “radioactive soup” described in Ilghal fragments.

No intact vertical structures are observed. The surface appears flattened, supporting the hypothesis of total structural collapse followed by compaction. This visual record may correspond to the early phase of the Deep City project, when the megastructure was not yet suspended but integrated into the submerged environment.

The preservation pattern is uneven. Certain areas retain sharp traces of the urban layout; others show advanced erosion. This contrast suggests localized thermal or energetic events.

From a rational standpoint, the document confirms that Deep City did not emerge within a geological void, but upon the physical memory of New York. From a human perspective—if that term still applies—the magnitude of silence conveyed by this cartography is difficult to ignore. There is no transit, no sign of biological activity.
