Beneath the frozen surface of Deep City, something persists.
The latest Ilghal fragment recovered by Expedition EX2407pD-QW has allowed a partial reconstruction of what lies below: a hidden underworld composed of massive cubic structures, identical to those observed on the surface. Their geometry is precise. Their repetition is intentional. This is not collapse — it is design.
The environment surrounding these structures is hostile. Dense liquid accumulations fill the terrain, consistent with radioactive or chemically unstable material. No lifeforms have been detected. No biological signatures remain.
And yet, the structures are not inactive.
Small apertures embedded in their surfaces continue to emit a faint red glow—residual energy that should not still exist after centuries without maintenance. The systems are degraded, but not extinguished.
This raises a critical question:
Who — or what — is sustaining them?
The current reconstruction, generated using Blender 3D v. ∞, is incomplete. The Ilghal fragment is fragmented, partially corrupted, and likely only a minimal representation of a much larger system beneath Deep City.
What we are seeing may not be ruins.
It may be infrastructure.
Further analysis is required.
