Expedition EX2407pD-QW completed a preliminary structural analysis of the Deep City megastructure located beneath the frozen Manhattan sector. The investigation compared direct expedition observations with a Structural Reconstruction Protocol generated using Blender 3D v. ∞ from partially recovered Ilghal fragments.
Current measurements indicate a subterranean cavern approximately 3000x3000x1500 meters. Inside the cavity, researchers identified four suspended structural blocks aligned around a central geometric axis. Estimated dimensions of each block: 200 meters in height, 32 meters in width, and up to 675 meters in longitudinal extension.
Analysis suggests that operational activity within Deep City was concentrated toward the internal sectors of the suspended structures rather than their exterior surfaces. Multiple illuminated apertures remain visible across the inward-facing regions of three primary blocks. Their function remains unknown.
One of the most significant discoveries involves a floating central object positioned precisely along the access conduit connecting the exterior world to the interior of the city. The object appears structurally integrated with both the suspended blocks and the deeper underworld layers referenced in recovered Ilghal fragments.
At present, no surviving engineering protocol, energy classification, or deciphered archive explains the mechanism capable of maintaining structures of this scale in stable suspension within the cavern.
All current interpretations remain provisional under ongoing Ilghal decryption and Structural Reconstruction Protocol analysis.
