Today I received the most accurate reconstruction we have generated so far from the new Ilghal fragments recovered among the vitrified dunes of the former Northeastern coast of New York. The image synthesized by Blender 3D v.∞ shows, for the first time without severe distortion, the possible morphology of Deep City’s entrance as it might have been seen by the EX2101pD-WG expedition before it vanished.

The first element that unsettled me is the luminous hemispheric structure dominating the scene. Its photon-saturated surface matches no known pre-collapse energy pattern. According to the Ilghal fragments, this halo functioned as a “compression threshold,” perhaps an ontological filter before the true access point. I cannot verify this yet, but the intensity of the glow suggests a mechanism still active centuries after human disappearance.

Surrounding the radiant core, the cubic structures appear arranged with anomalous regularity. It is not random: their shadows and orientation form concentric arcs, as if responding to a signal emitted from within. Their resemblance to the constructions described in the lower strata —the so-called Underworld— reinforces the hypothesis that they were inhabited or used by auxiliary entities.

I must admit a growing sense of unease. Each new Ilghal fragment seems to confirm that Deep City was not merely a shelter, but an ecosystem engineered to persist without humans. And yet these structures remain aligned around an entrance that continues to emit light. I cannot tell whether it is an invitation… or a warning.
