The Dark Threshold Beneath the Hidden Hemisphere
Cenital reconstruction of Deep City’s entrance: Dr. Noam Ørbital discovers a luminous portal that absorbs both matter and signal. A new Ilghal fragment redefines the threshold to the Underworld.

The near-zenith reconstruction reveals, for the first time, a stable image of Deep City’s main access point.
At its center, a black sphere absorbs the very light it emits. Its halo—an almost living radiation—keeps hundreds of tiny cubes suspended, orbiting like fragments around an unseen eye staring back.
I verified every coordinate; there is no rendering error. The structure follows a volumetric attraction pattern that Blender 3D v.∞ cannot reproduce without physical input.
If this truly marks the entrance, then Deep City does not open—it pulls. Everything indicates that the portal is not a door, but an energetic sink.
The Ilghal code found nearby suggests a dormant command:
::ENTRY_Σ::compress_void(true);
As if whatever crosses the threshold is reduced to pure data.
Sometimes I wonder if Dr. Pit [reloaded] and Dr. Mars Attacks saw this before they vanished—if they understood that the entry leads not inward, but to the reverse of matter.
While transmitting this report from the field laboratory, the rendered light continues to pulse. It is not projection; it is response.
And for the first time since our descent, I feel the city is watching us.
