Cube Structures Around the Entrance to Deep City

The latest reconstruction generated from recovered Ilghal fragments reveals an unexpected phenomenon: dozens of cubic structures surrounding the glowing entrance to Deep City, arranged with no identifiable pattern. None share the same orientation: some are rotated, others are tilted at improbable angles, many appear partially or almost fully sunken into the crystallized snow surface. This irregularity, far from random, seems to encode mechanical or social behavior we still cannot decode.

My first hypothesis, based on parallels with the twin structures of the Underworld described in earlier Ilghal records, is that these units may have once been habitation modules. Their chaotic dispersion could indicate prolonged deterioration or an abrupt evacuation in a distant era. The tilting is not the result of current climate conditions: they show displacement patterns consistent with internal activity, possibly failed autonomous movement.

A second possibility, more troubling, is that they are defective replicas generated by the original construction module. If Morris Sic produced experimental iterations of these structures, their fragmented state could reflect an interrupted cycle of trial and error, halted by the nuclear collapse of 2053.

Finally, I cannot dismiss a symbolic origin. The irregular arrangement may constitute a ritualized perimeter, a boundary marked by entities we may never fully understand. Although unsettling, this idea aligns with the increasing symbolic density detected in recent Ilghal fragments.

I continue to experience a mixture of fear and fascination: every reconstruction raises more questions about Deep City than we can currently answer. But today, more than ever, I sense that these tilted, sunken, silent structures contain essential clues about the disappearance of Pit [reloaded] and Mars Attacks. I will continue the analysis as soon as the system allows extraction of additional render layers.
